Today we want to highlight one of the projects we are currently working on as a company, with Fundación Tu Cultura in Cartagena. Together, we are collaborating with them to build different initiatives centered around protecting the cultural legacy of Getsemani, one of Cartagena’s most iconic and historic neighborhoods.
Our shared vision includes motivating responsible tourism among all stakeholders involved in the daily development and growth of the region. As well as addressing the prevalent issue of gentrification in Getsemani, a challenge the neighborhood has faced since becoming a popular tourism hub. To prevent this, we want to flip the script on Getsemaní, working directly with the community so that they can tell their own story, protecting and showcasing their heritage and local identity.
